Since receiving the captaincy role in 2006, he played in 89 tournaments, won six Sevens Series titles, and won both Gold and Silver Commonwealth Games medals in 2010 and 2014, respectively. He also competed at the Rio Olympics in 2016, where the team placed fifth. Over his career he appeared in 512 games scoring 153 tries.
