COUNTING.

On May 18, Dave Nyika took down Michael Seitz on boxing’s biggest stage. Each punch he landed was a donation and a heroic effort to stop malaria. With your support, we raised $44,280, buying and distributing 5,200 bed nets and protecting 9,760 people from this devastating disease.

As Dave continues his rise to a world title on September 14, his mission to stop malaria remains unwavering. To support Dave’s heroic efforts, take a stand with him. If you can spare the cost of a bed net, please give today and join us in making an even greater impact.

MALARIA

FOUNDATION

AMF is considered the gold-standard of charities fighting malaria in Africa. They work to prevent disease spread in low-income countries through the distribution and implementation of long-lasting insecticidal anti-malaria nets.

Malaria kills over half a million humans each year, and most of them are children under five. Before anti-malaria bed nets, AMF
estimates that this number was around 1.2 million.

It costs approximately $5 USD to purchase and distribute one net to a household, which makes AMF exceptionally cost-effective. Each net protects an average of two people for about two years and 100% of public donations go towards purchasing nets.

Besides saving lives, fighting malaria has a profound effect on helping the African economy. AMF
estimates that “every $1m spent fighting malaria efficiently improves the wealth of the continent of Africa by $12m.”

In a groundbreaking collaboration, interim WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker has aligned forces with Duco Boxing and DAZN to supercharge coverage of Nyika’s pursuit of a cruiserweight world title this September 14.
