Brenda has held a variety of roles in international professional tennis working in over 50 countries with WTA, ATP, ITF, Grand Slams and Olympics. These roles have included international operations, governance, officiating, event initiator, strategist, fundraiser, mentor, TV and radio commentator, professional tennis player. Brenda is a former NZ Number 1 and she oversaw the return of women’s international professional tennis to NZ in 1980s. She has been the only female Tournament Director of NZ’s ASB Classic and is one of just a few females worldwide to be a Tournament Director of a WTA 1000 event having done so in China at Wuhan Open and WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai.
