Sevens Series. He has played professionally for eleven years. Jamie was awarded the
University Medal for highest grades in Business Management at Edinburgh Napier where
he studied alongside playing. Jamie is passionate about Sustainability in Sport. He has met
and worked with some amazing people and organisations. Jamie co-wrote an open letter
signed by hundreds of professional players urging World Rugby to take a leadership role
in sustainability. He has since been involved with World Rugby's environmental efforts
alongside their 2030 Environmental Sustainability Plan. Jamie was an Athlete Ambassador
for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games whose aim was to be the most sustainable
games ever. Jamie is also Scottish Rugby's Sustainability Ambassador, working with boardlevel members to implement a strategic approach to sustainability. Jamie has spoken
publicly at global sports conferences and to the media about sports' responsibility to the
climate crisis.
